DPI Fund partner PICO California, a faith-based organizing network that operates nine federations across the state, was featured in an article in Axios highlighting its work to shift focus in the political ecosystem away from partisan battles toward solving local problems faced by the Latino community. PICO California’s outreach and civic engagement work is rooted in public opinion research, focused on underrepresented rural Latinos, and works to engage farm workers, laborers, and others on social justice and community needs to achieve local progress and create the next generation of leaders.
